Breaking Records with Yoga: Habuild’s 21-Day Challenge
Sticking to New Year’s resolutions is tough, but wellness startup Habuild made it easier with a 21-day online yoga challenge in January. From January 2 to 22, over 4.5 lakh participants from 92 countries joined the challenge, practicing yoga from the comfort of their homes.
On January 12 (Quitters Day), when most people give up on their resolutions, Habuild created a Guinness World Record—2,46,252 people practicing yoga in a single session.
Founded in 2020 by IIT alumni Saurabh Bothra, Trishala Bothra, and Anshul Agrawal, Habuild aims to make wellness accessible through WhatsApp-based automated support. It offers yoga, mindful eating, and fitness programs, helping users build consistency with the ‘No-Zero Days’ approach engaging in small activities to avoid inactivity.
With over 2 million users across 38 nations, Habuild’s impact continues to grow. The startup now plans to launch yoga programs for children and targeted wellness initiatives for conditions like diabetes and hypertension.
